The AuthorMevelyn Ann McCloud is a multi-talented creative person of African ancestry. As a poet, she has been honored by the World Of Poetry Society with their Golden Poet award and her song lyrics have won awards from the Music City Song Festival. Ms. McCloud is a skilled photographer who knows her way around a darkroom in color or black and white. Her photographs have been published in magazines, newspaper editions and city reports. A few of the photographs on this site were taken and developed by her. Her photographs, as well as her artistic graphic abilities, are displayed in each of her digital web books. Although Ms. McCloud enjoys writing fiction more than other forms of writing, she also writes non-fiction. Her feature articles have been published in magazines, newspaper editions, newsletters and city reports. Her movie reviews have been published in a local monthly newsletter. She is a Contributing Writer for Demand Media Studios and Suite101. Ms. McCloud has a Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting degree an an Associate of Applied Science in Journalism Arts Techology. She believes the journalistic training enhances her fiction writing. Ms. McCloud is also listed in the Marquis Who's Who.
